Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ

1. Where do I check in?

All golfers need to check in at the starter house, next to the tennis courts. It is marked with the Belmont logo and the Bell. For those looking to utilize the range, our ball machine is credit card enabled so you can go straight to the range.

2. When do you stop letting people tee off?

Our last tee time of the day is 60 minutes prior to sunset, with both electric and push carts being due back at sunset. For available tee times, please click “Book a Tee-Time”

3. Do you accept club donations?

Yes! We are partnered with Next Round to accept club donations and trade-ins. For donations, please drop them off at the starter house. For trade-ins, please visit: nextroundgolf.com

4. When do the grass range tees usually close? When do they reopen?

We aim to have our grass tee open as long as possible each year. The grass tee’s on average around the 1st week of May but is dependent on consistent grass growth. In late Fall, we will keep our tees open until we feel like we won’t be able to sustain long-term turf health.

5. What practice facilities do you have?

Belmont consists of a practice range, wedge range (open May-November), and the CapTech Putting Lab (available by appointment only)

6. Do you have push carts?

Rental push carts are available for $5. Let us help you purchase your own push cart through our partners at Bag Boy

7. How do I get more information on programs?

Program information and registration is available on the First Tee – Greater Richmond website (www.firstteerva.org), for additional questions you can contact Ana Ferreyra Heit.

8. What time does the range close?

The range closes 45 minutes before sunset with the exception of Sundays. The range will close 90 minutes prior to sunset on Sundays for maintenance.
