We are thrilled to have several leagues and events at Belmont in 2024 as we continue make Belmont a home not just for golfers but also for every person in the community.

May 16-June 1: Get Golf Ready Program #1

Our Get Golf Ready program is a four-class lesson program. We will go over every aspect of the game from putting, chipping, iron and wood play, bunker shots and conclude with on-the-course play covering rules and etiquette.

No equipment? No problem, we’ll provide it! This program is great for beginning golfers and those who may need a quick refresher. The program includes the four classes, equipment rental if needed and one pass for a round on Little Bell our 6-hole Par 3 Course.

May 31: 75th Anniversary Event

Come relive the 1949 PGA Championship with the same clubs and balls used by Sam Snead and his fellow competitors. On May 31, 1949, Sam Snead defeated Johnny Palmer 3&2 to win the 1949 PGA Championship here at Belmont! Take the time to come celebrate the 75th anniversary of this achievement.

June 8-29: Get Golf Ready Program #2

Aug 17-18: Belmont Open

The Belmont Open returns in August with playing opportunities for men, women, and juniors. The annual competition features two stroke play rounds on the historic A.W. Tillinghast design with gross and net winners.

Belmont Leagues

May 8 - Aug 14: Wednesday After Work Women's League

Come join us on Little Bell every other Wednesday evening beginning May 8th for our new Wednesday after Work Women’s Social League on Little Bell! The league will run through August 14th bi-weekly (skipping July 3rd).

This social and non-competitive league is open to women of all ages and abilities. Tee times will begin at 5:30pm. The fee each week is $20 and includes green fees and a push cart. We will have drink specials running each week and the patio will be open following play.

May 13 - Aug 19: Monday Morning Women's League

Belmont is please to announce our Monday Morning Ladies League open to all ages and abilities!

The format of the league will be solely focused on growing the game in a social atmosphere but with a touch of competition. Players can request to participate on our 12 hole course or our 6-hole par 3 course. Each week will feature a different non-competitive format that will be fun for the whole group! There will also be a season long ringer board that will determine our Ladies League champion. 

The league will run from May 13th through August 19th. (We will skip May 27th for Memorial Day)

The rounds will begin at 8 am on the 12 hole course and 10am on the 6 hole course Monday mornings starting May 13th and running through August 19th. Weekly registration will be emailed out weekly and you may book tee times as usual at playbelmontrva.org within the Monday Ladies League block. 

There will be a one time $15 fee to participate in the league and a weekly $2 prize fund fee.

April 23 - July 23: Tilly's 12 League

Our annual team league runs every Tuesday for a 5:15pm shotgun start from April 30th through June 25th for the regular season. Playoffs will tentatively be held on July 16th and 23rd.

Each week will consist of Two-Person Best-Ball Match Play. Team points will be awarded based on the number of holes won per match – 1 point for each hole won, ½ point for each hole tied, and 0 points for each hole lost. Twelve (12) total points are up for grabs in each match (except in the case of a forfeit, which will be outlined below).

Teams will consist of four (4) to six (6) players. Each match will be against Team A vs Team B (1A/2A vs 1B/2B and 3A/4A vs 3B/4B) and opponents will rotate on a weekly basis.
